Having raised over 1.5 million dollars in nonprofit funding, I'm a writer with expertise in nonprofit grant proposal writing, program development and technical writing. I use my writing to secure vital funding for nonprofit organizations that are working to make a positive impact.

I have a Bachelor of Health Sciences from Louisiana State University and have lived and worked abroad in various capacities. My journey into marine conservation began during my time on the island of Koh Samui in Thailand, where I witnessed firsthand the beauty and vulnerability of the ocean.

I've been actively involved in various initiatives to protect marine ecosystems, including my former roles as an Ocean Steward for the Pacific Whale Foundation and a Grants Department Advisor for Seaside Sustainability, Inc. I have been contributing to the preservation of marine life and habitats as a freediver, working to remove marine debris from Maui's Southside ocean reefs weekly for the past five years.

I've worked as a writing coach for Pearson Education and have also collaborated on professional projects, including my published work in anatomy education in 2021 for Anatomy Land and my 2024 publication for the Grant Professionals Association, How can you stay connected when working remotely as a grant professional?

I've conducted grants management and proposal writing training seminars for organizations, empowering nonprofits to secure the necessary funding to continue and grow their important work. Through my role as a Grants and Development Specialist, I use my writing and management skills to support organizations in achieving their missions.
